Finally an end to this story (for now)

Another update...  Our second daughter has finally gotten rid of her last molluscum dot.  It was a bit more difficult and long lasting with her.  Her skin seems thicker and more difficult to penetrate but we still used the ACV with her but only when the dots were coming to the very surface.  That being said, Daughter #2 cried when we put the ACV on.  She said it burnt but we went ahead and did it because we didn't want to cut them out.  With her, the remaining molluscum seemed to be the largest ones and we finally removed the last stubborn one tonight.  I waited until it was very much on the surface and I scraped it off.  It left a gaping hole and as with many others there was a lot of bleeding, which seems to be the scariest part of the whole removal process.    She was unhappy about it until I told her it was her very last one and that she was finished with them.  We had a little dance party to celebrate.

One thing to remember is that older children don't catch molluscum. Our oldest daughter never caught them back again and she regularly took baths with the little one.  All in all I think it was about 2 years of molluscum with daughter #2.  We were not very aggressive with getting rid of them and because we had been through it before and weren't as freaked out as we were with #1.   I never once considered taking her to the dermatologist because the cutting was so unacceptable to us with #1.

I still think Apple Cider Vinegar is an amazing treatment to use and will use it again if we have child #3 and he/she gets this virus.  Meantime we hope this page helps people who had the same questions and stresses we had with this.   Please do note the information about band aids.  The little round kind have been a total blessing and were totally necessary for the ACV treatment.
